Bath Abbey

The Abbey is an Anglican parish church and a former Benedictine monastery.  A Grade I listed building, it is particularly noted for its fan vaulting and contains war memorials for the local population and monuments to several notable people, in the form of wall and floor plaques and commemorative stained glass.

Famous for its glorious Roman and Georgian architecture and buildings built from the distinctive Bath Stone, Bath’s architecture is world famous.  The Royal Crescent and Bath Assembly Rooms are particularly impressive. Don’t forget to pop in for lunch or dinner whilst exploring Bath’s sites.

Royal Victoria Park

Just a short stroll from Hall & Woodhouse, the Royal Victoria Park is a beautiful expanse of green park land, spanning 57 acres. Originally an arboretum, it is still home to beautiful botanic gardens and the Great Dell Aerial Walkway.   Why not pop in for some refreshments after walking around the park?
